After graduating with honors from the University of Rochester, Dr. Brezel earned his medical degree from the State University in Brooklyn, NY in 1984. While in medical school he distinguished himself performing independent medical research in Melanoma which was presented at a national conference.

Since graduating from medical school he completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, NY. He then went on to complete a dermatology residency at SUNY Health Science Center in Brooklyn, NY.

After completing his dermatology residency he has been in private practice in the New York area for the past 22 years.

He is a diplomate (board certified) of the American Board of Dermatology as well as a member of the NYS Society of Dermatology and Greater Dermatologic Society of New York. He is on staff at several local hospitals.

He is a compassionate caring physician who is experienced in the treatment of all diseases of the skin, hair and nails. He is known for his experience in cosmetic procedures including the non-invasive fat removal, Botox, Restylane, Juvederm, Sclerotherapy, Chemical Peels, and Microdermabrasions. His office maintains a list of state of the art Lasers for hair removal, veins, pigmented spots, and Psoriasis.
